Big sighhhhhh. Wish I was going over to Harris Teeter's for my groceries instead of Publix. But, I don't think I've been hungry since I got back--that buildup of butter perhaps? I recounted to Margo everything we ate and then felt quite nauseous.
My flight was amusing, upon approach to the Charlotte airport, just as you could see the trees through the fog and clouds we took back up again. I though, yeah we're going back to Charleston. Then as we made a big u-turn they came on the intercom and said that the pilot couldn't find the runway on the first approach!!!!! Boy, that instills lots of confidence for the next approach. But we landed safely, if not a little late. I had to run to my gate as it had been moved from the one next door to where we landed, but when I got there they had stopped boarding because the bathroom had a leak. An hour later we were able to board, and then there was some old lady in my seat. She had been told it was empty. I almost got to sit in first class, but then it filled up. I could've sat next to Vince Neil (from Motley Crue) who apparently Wally, was on his way to WPB because he's part owner of a nightclub there (with someone I know who has the same birthday as me!). So I finally got home and took a nap, then went out to dinner with Margo and Heather.
Yesterday was Rosh Hashana, need I say more. Lots of people all trying to check in at the same time. Then a crazy woman who has been staying here came downstairs with her shirt not only on inside out, but backwards, too. She said I needed to come up and look at her room because there was a 500 lb woman living in her closet, trying on her clothes and throwing her shoes away, not to mention that glass wall that was in her room where everyone could look in. We had to call the cops to see if they'd take her away. The public says, not bad enough. Earlier in the day she had been down in the lobby for about an hour waiting for Sara Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick to come and pick her up for breakfast. They never came!
Like I said, back to normal.....
