Wow!

I trust everyone made it home safely and had the wonderful flights I did. Not a cloud in the sky with only an occasional "tickle" on the way down into Phoenix. The Butler met me at the security gate and then we went to visit our favorite patient. He was trying to escape the bed when we walked in and seemed to be aware of things, even miming out things like "drive me home". However, after thoughtful discussions with all the medical experts, ministers and friends, he is heading to Hospice of the Valley as I write this. There's turmoil here with Larry feeling uncomfortable about everyone giving up when he seemed almost aware today but it's not our choice and he should be supportive of Mary right now. Who knows. Sonny might feel suddenly wonderful when that machine is out of his throat.

Thanks for my lovely gifts, hennies, and for sharing all these days and nights revisiting fun times. It was a fun trip and a fun city! My clothes are washed, I had a nice tofu shake for dinner, and I'm all set for another crazy Monday.
